Black Wall Street Everywhere was developed as a business-business wealth generation network for entrepreneurs, inventors, business owners, financial advisors, entertainers, athletes, clergy, doctors, lawyers, educators, farmers and anyone focused on building healthy and diverse communities. History of Black Wall Street

In the small Oklahoma suburb of Tulsa's Greenwood District, 300 African-Americans lost their lives and more than 9,000 were left homeless, when the Klu Klux Klan attacked the community and burned it to the ground. The area was called "Black Wall Street" or "Little Africa" because of its black-owned business infrastructure that included pawn shops, brothels, jewelry stores, 21 churches, 21 restaurants and two movie theaters that supported a population of 15,000. The area was comprised of over 600 businesses, within 36 square blocks. When a student went to school on Black Wall Street, he wore a suit and tie because of the morals and respect taught at a young age. The mission of the community was to educate every child. The main street was Greenwood Ave, which intersected at Archer and Pine Streets.  The group Gap Band, from Tulsa, derived their name from the first letters of these streets.  

We can never forget the sacrifices our ancestors made for our freedoms.
